I am an acupuncturist and herbalist with over 15 years in health care, including my background as an RN and licensed massage therapist. I offer a unique blend of expertise that integrates the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of wellbeing.
I specialize in a gentle yet effective approach, perfect for those new to acupuncture, and for needle-sensitive patients. My acupuncture treatments are informed by Japanese-style modalities, including moxibustion and teishin (contact needling). Herbal consultation and recommendations are a foundation of the care I provide, and are included in sessions as needed. I also apply bodywork techniques such as Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, Cupping, and applied Qigong Tui Na.
Background:
My own profound healing experiences receiving acupuncture and herbal medicine led to my passion for holistic healing. After many years of learning and working in other health and medical realms, I became inspired to train in Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine, where I have found a home in an approach that allows me to treat the whole person in all of their divine complexity.
